Oh what can I even say. Lori and Sharon are the most wonderful people. The care they give you is so genuine and loving. The way they support you before, during, and after birth is sometimes all we need in that moment. I never lost faith even when my anxiety was high. I expressed my concerns when I had them and they always made me feel better with logical reasoning. I knew I needed to give birth in water, and after my first birth not going the way I wanted, this experience redeemed birth giving for me. Highly recommend this midwifery and a water birth for your natural, unmedicated needs.

I just experienced my second birth with FVM, and each time they have been extraordinary. Never have I had a care team so caring. I wish I could have had all five of my children with them.

The ladies here are so amazing and are always there if you need them. Even when I call the after hours number and if no one answers they call back within a few minutes. I unfortunately wasn't able to give birth in the birthing center like I wanted to but even then Sharon kept in touch with me while I went to the hospital and even after I had my son she continued to make sure I was okay. I 100% recommend these ladies.

Our daughter was born two days ago. Our first child, and we feel so incredibly lucky that we decided to have a home-birth with Modern. We were able to welcome our beautiful child in the comfort and safety of our own home, with the preservation of the spiritual transfiguration of parenthood held perfectly intact by this great team. I would also like to say, I work in the emergency medical field, and these women are top-notch professionals when it comes to the medical side of caring for your child. I would put my child in the hands of these women over an L&D hospital staff any day. They provide true care, comfort, knowledge, and attention to detail at every turn. Cannot recommend them enough.

After a hospital birth with my first I knew I wanted to have my next kids at home. To have that I needed a good team. There are no other provider I would want for my pregnancy and birth than MM. Every prenatal appointment made me feel confident and calm. I remember realizing that I literally had nothing to worry about with a team like that. I never had one concern. I ended up having a beautiful birth at home , 5 hrs from start to finish , midwives arrived an hr before my son was son, they held space for me and let my body do the work. I was very confident in them and trusted the process because I knew they would only interfere when absolutely needed. They made me feel safe and calm. Luca was born right before sunrise and my team stayed with me for a few hours after. At home visit 48 hours post birth was great. Made sure me and the baby were doing well. I enjoyed staying home in the same room I gave birth for the next few weeks , I healed quick and didn’t have postpartum issues because of that!
