3 Best Midwives in Milwaukee, WI

Unfortunately, I was unable to have the birth of my dreams here because of some cardiac issues that were uncovered during pregnancy that deemed me high risk. However, this facility and the midwives that my husband got to work with (Heather & Hannah) for the majority of our 2nd trimester undoubtedly set our expectations very HIGH as first time parents. The care we received from both of these midwives was truly unmatched. If you are looking for that untraditional water birth, this is the place for you! And even though I wasn't able to finish out my pregnancy here, I would recommend them to anyone who expressed interest in a water or birth center style birth. Thank you Heather, Hannah & LaNette.

I absolutely loved my experiences at Authentic. The water birth of my daughter will always be one of my most treasured memories. I reflect on it often.The lovely midwives and students, plus the atmosphere of the rooms and birth suites made for an amazing prenatal and birth experience. I would 100% recommend.

5 stars undoubtedly! All the staff are highly knowledgeable and a true master of their craft. They brought positive energy to every single appointment and especially on game day. There is not enough space for me to even tell you how awesome of an experience this was for my wife and I with the birth of our first baby! To make you even more comfortable with choosing authentic, we had a shoulder dystocia baby during the birth which only happens in 5 percent of births. Midwives Hannah, Katie and Teresina handled it with calmness, confidence and were able to quickly mitigate the situation! If you choose Authentic, enjoy every single moment because it will be the most memorable experience in the world and it goes quickly.

Our experience with Sabrina at Birth in Color Midwifery was phenomenal! Sabrina has the most blissful, jovial and radiant heart for all her clients and her career. She truly cares and it shows through her work ethics. She went above and beyond to make sure not just myself but that my husband and our children were comfortable, seen, heard and well informed at all times. This was a family adventure and we cherished every moment of it. We initially went to Birth in Color Midwifery in search for a service but we left with so much more, a life long family friendship was created, we all learned so much from her. It was truly an incredible experience.

We chose Birth in Color Midwifery for our home birthing experience. Sabrina is incredibly attentive and is intentional about every encounter. I am not used to being truly cared for in the way I received care with her. I never felt rushed or like an after thought. Although, I am what many would consider a veteran mom, Sabrina never treated me as though I knew it all. Our visits were conversational and she knew just what I needed during an abnormal for me delivery. Forever grateful for Sabrina and staff and would highly recommend them.

I cant say enough good things about Sabrina and BIC. This was our first midwife experience and home birth and Sabrina made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole pregnancy and birth. She was easy to work with and took her time to get to know us and listen to our needs, concerns, and hopes. She truly goes above and beyond and I can't recommend her enough.
