HARRIS ACADEMY OF THE ARTS REVIEWS

Harris Academy is a very warm inviting place to go and learn music, practice music, or perfect music. You don't have to be a kid to go there, and you aren't stuck playing only the popular instruments. They teach vocals, theatre, jazz, classical, and many more. My son has physical disabilities and Harris Academy was the only place in Lincoln that would teach my son the Xylaphone. He loves music, and Harris Academy gave, and gives him that joy.

My 5 year old and I have enjoyed our group lessons. We've learned about music notes and timing and how a teacher follows a lesson plan. Bonus is practice at home should make setting aside time for homework easier for the both of us I hope.

Harris Academy of the Arts was a life savor for our family when we moved to Lincoln from out-of-state. We appreciated the flexible scheduling and working with instructors that have a love for music and children. We know our family will be in great hands as our kids progress through their music education.

BLUE RAVEN MUSIC STUDIOS REVIEWS

We found Blue Raven nearly two years ago for our ten year old daughter’s guitar lessons after moving back to NE from out of state. It was a great find! Jenny is a great instructor—she makes playing the guitar so fun we rarely have to tell our daughter to practice. It’s a laid back atmosphere that allows students to advance at their own pace and encourages them to do so. We have enjoyed the guitar lessons so much we recently added in voice lessons, too. We highly recommend Blue Raven for all of your music lesson needs.

My daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Blue Raven for a long time and she has flourished! All of the teachers there are great! I would highly recommend this place! Watching your child learn a new skill and seeing their confidence grow is so rewarding for both students and their parents alike! A BIG thanks to Blue Raven and my daughter’s personal teacher, Lia Havlena, who is always sweet, flexible, and patient, and a wonderful performer herself.

My 10 year old son has been taking guitar lessons for almost two years now with Colten W. He loves it! Colten is great and teaches in a way that’s developmentally appropriate and fun. Prices are reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend Blue Raven.

MARBLE MUSIC STUDIOS LINCOLN REVIEWS

Excellent instruction and a family friendly studio space. We go here for both piano and violin, and it’s been a wonderful experience for my child. The couch, toys, books, and crayons make waiting for the lesson a breeze for the little one, too. We also love the optional recitals. The Spooky Recital has been a particularly fun recital for making practicing fun. Scheduling wise, we have been happy with the atypical business hours, because it’s impossible with our schedules to get lessons in during an 8-5 time slot. The owners, Bethany and Julia, are very responsive via email and are quick to help when questions or things come up. Definitely would recommend Marble Music for any student musician.

We absolutely love Marble Music! My 7 year old independently chose to continue taking lessons through the summer, rather than taking a break! Our teachers are always extremely positive, encouraging, and patient. They have been fantastic at making connections with my kids and being sure to allow fun “freestyle” time in each session.

My 10 year old daughter has taken piano lessons at Marble Music for several years. We've worked with 3 main teachers and several subs. They've all been awesome teachers and have made Savannah feel very comfortable. I recommend Marble Music to everyone looking for music lessons.
