"Pioneers Golf Course is an 18-hole layout set across a gradual hill, with its beautiful clubhouse perched at the top, offering panoramic views of the course. The golf course was designed by golf architect William Tucker. The layout originally had 27 holes, spread across a gradual hill. Later, it was renovated as an 18-hole course, becoming one of the most popular courses in the area. Guests can also enjoy the 300-yard driving range with room for up to 35 golfers. Six targets, ranging from 75 to 275 yards, are also available at Pioneers Golf Course. Pioneers Golf Course offers many options according to the golfer's playing skill level. The golf course is unique and has remained true to its intent with no sand bunkers on any of the holes.

2026 Update: Pioneers Golf Course also features one of the best practice facilities in the Midwest, along with a well-stocked pro shop offering top-name golf equipment and apparel."

"Highlands Golf Course is an 18-hole Championship and Public Golf Course created by Jeff Brauer. The course offers sweeping, rolling terrain that makes it a pleasure to play. The course features four different tees to choose from, stretching over 7,000 yards from the gold markers (White, 5,280 yards; Blue, 6,022 yards; Black, 6,523 yards). The course has four large hitting areas, laser yardage markers, target flags (several laser-linked), and target greens to help make your practice time more productive. Highlands Golf Course offers practice facilities in the Midwest and a pro shop that is well-stocked with name-brand golf equipment and apparel. There is a tee box for all levels of golfers. The Highlands Golf Course has a links-style layout intended to provide a fair but challenging test for all playing abilities.

2026 Update: Highlands Golf Course offers several rubber hitting mats for practice during wet conditions. Two large practice greens adjacent to the clubhouse, typically the north for chipping and the south for putting, are also available."

Awesome course . T Boxes, fairways, greens all I'm excellent condition. From out of town, played here because it was close to my hotel. This is a hidden gem. Will definitely be back.

Greens and fairways were in PRISTINE condition. Carts were brand new. Pace of play was pretty good for a Saturday afternoon.

Greens and tee boxes are good dont go into the rough you may never find yourself.

PIONEERS GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Absolutely awesome public course, the course is well maintained. The greens are normally the most fun about this place, they can very from extremely speedy, to a nice roll that stays true to its line and essentuates the breaks in the greens. The staff is always up beat and ready to make sure your day of golf is enjoyed.

I have been going to this park since I was a small child. I just love this park. They keep it so well maintained and there are so many things to do there and our puppy likes it too. I would hardly recommend going there for some quiet time if that's what you're looking for.

The course is in excellent shape and the staff is outstanding. They treat you like they are truly happy you are there.

HIGHLANDS GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Highlands is an extreamly fun track. The course is well kept. There are some areas of the course which are huge birdie oppritunities. The staff is helpful and cheery. There is some great instructors out at highlands. There is a tee box for all levels of golf. If it is windy and im talking about anything above 13 MPH highlands becomes a very difficult course. There is an airport to the side of the course which depending on who you are may be a bonus or a disadvantage. Love this course and keep coming back.

My wife and had the pleasure of playing another Jeff Brauer designed golf courses… this course didn’t disappoint with a great balance of playability and challenge… we do however think that their should be Tee lengths allowing women and super seniors to reach green in regulation. This is commonly overlooked and easily fix d by just placing markers on a level part of the existing fairway…

Best public course in Lincoln. For the price it is hard to beat. Some really fun holes that allow you to either take risks with high reward or lay up and have easy second shots. Greens are smooth, turf is in great shape. Course continues to be in great shape in June of 2024. Also, their range is pretty good, with 2 putting and chipping greens.
