“Dr. Alexander Wiseman has over 29-year career in the medical field. Educated at Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate and medical school training, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and pursued specialized training in nephrology and transplant nephrology at the University of Colorado. Formerly a Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado for two decades, Dr. Wiseman held the role of Medical Director for Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Programs from 2008 to 2020. With a dedication to research, he has an extensive publication record and is recognized as a prominent lecturer at national and international events. Actively engaged in professional organizations like the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation, Dr. Wiseman holds leadership roles. His professional focus encompasses innovative approaches to immunosuppression and immune monitoring, organ allocation and utilization, and enhancing transplantation access. Chairing multiple meetings supported by leading organizations, he has delivered over 200 invited lectures globally. Currently, Dr. Alexander Wiseman serves as the Director of Kidney Transplantation at AdventHealth Transplant Institute Porter.”
