BRETT DEES, MD - NORMAN REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM REVIEWS
Anyone suffering from migraines needs to be here. Dr. Dees is the best physician I have ever seen. He is thorough, he knows my history, he listens, and he will correct me if I am not following the plan. He seeks out alternatives if something isn't working and he is up to date on new treatments and research. He truly wants to help me be well. He also cares about my family and my overall health, and not just my headaches. His staff is impeccable. I wish I could see him for all my healthcare. He is truly the epitome of what all health care providers should be.
The best neurologist I’ve ever seen. Extremely knowledgeable about headaches, pain, and multiple concussions. I would highly recommend Dr Dees. I am a new patient, and we spoke for at least an hour. He’s absolutely amazing! I feel lucky I was referred to him. I finally have confidence I may get better after my five concussions on top of a brain bleed.
Dr. Dee's cares to help his patients feel better. He is understanding, thoroughly listens and gives his best advice in every situation. He has dramatically improved my migraines and for that, I am thankful.

MATTHEW RYAN, MD - NORMAN REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM [3 REVIEWS
I’m a sufferer of a chronic pain disorder. A few of them actually. I’ve gone through most of the neurologists in this state. I can tell you I saw Dr. Ryan years and years ago for stomach issues. Couldn’t figure out why I was seeing a neurologist for stomach problems. Turns out I have severe migraines that cause my stomach problems as well as many other problems. Dr. Ryan obviously knew this years ago and I wish I would have stayed with him then. I think I moved or something but nonetheless I never saw the connection until recently. He tried then to explain but somehow I failed to see the importance or the significance of my disease until I was paralyzed from a severe hemiplegic attack in 2014. I can also tell you now that I have mostly recovered from that attack. You CANNOT take heavy meds!! Especially opioids! If you have neurological problems it will send you into a cycle you will never get out of. I had to move to Hawaii. Get off all narcotics. Detoxed, learned to eat better. I went through it let me tell you. We should praise our doctors that look out for patients by not poisoning them. As a grandma and someone previously in the medical field from both perspectives I’m proud of Dr. Ryan. Way to go!
I had a neuro event that caused facial palsy, he and his staff got me in right away. My lip was drooping to almost chin level when I smiled. He put me on meds and within a few days my lip has almost went back to baseline. I would also like to say, I had a previous neurologist dismiss my symptoms and Dr. Ryan read my chart and had a diagnosis and meds on me 2nd visit that prior dr had nothing on me and had missed a critical lab finding. I don't want any other dr.
Very knowledgeable, punctual, and friendly. I did read some of the older "comments" and it is clear that there were no legitimate complaints. If there were, that individual would have taken to the board and not meaninglessness trolled via online, anonymously.
