"Dr. James P. Valeriano earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. James P. Valeriano is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at AHN. His clinical interests include the treatment of epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, absence seizures, and benign epilepsy syndromes. He also has experience managing conditions such as absent corpus callosum, acute flaccid paralysis, abnormal eye movements, and altered mental status. Dr. James P. Valeriano specializes in the care of patients with epilepsy and is highly skilled in interpreting electroencephalograms (EEGs).
