DANIEL REFAI, MD - EMORY ORTHOPAEDICS & SPINE CENTER REVIEWS
Dr Refai did two spinal surgeries on my husband - a spinal fusion and a laminectomy. His manner creates incredible confidence. He does not rush to surgery as a solution but once he does decide to commit to surgery as the best option for a patient he produces incredible results. He was equally as effective in addressing my concerns as the spouse and his office staff, especially Shawnee Wallace his nurse made our experience as positive as possible.
Dr. Refai is one of the best surgeons around. He is very professional, compassionate and informative with his skills. I highly recommend him to anyone who need back surgery. He doesn't need to do fusion on all his patients if its not necessary and I thank God I was lead to someone who cares about your long term outcome.
Dr. Refai is outstanding. He is super knowledgeable and rightfully confident in his abilities. I had a spinal tumor (ependymoma) that's rare and was compressing my spinal cord. A month after surgery and I'm back in the gym. Highly recommend if you are in need of a tricky spinal surgery.

STEVEN D. WRAY, MD - ATLANTA BRAIN AND SPINE CARE REVIEWS
Without a question, the most amazing surgeon I have ever had the opportunity to experience. I had back issues, and had to have a microdiscectomy. Dr Wray spent a good deal of time explaining the goals of the surgery, as well as all options that were non-surgical. There was never any pressure to move forward in a particular direction. He also was very capable of demonstrating the issues I was experiencing, and explaining the "why" behind them (often using replica skeletal demo models). I credit Dr. Wray for my current back health, and am grateful for his skill and proficiency as a surgeon.
Dr. Wray is very attentive, friendly, patient, and thorough. He has been thoroughly prepared for each of my appointments and takes enough for me to fully understand and to be comfortable with my diagnosis.
Top notch Surgeon! Top notch staff! Highly recommend this fine gentleman & all involved. Dr. Wray & God, literally, saved my life. I will be, forever, grateful. Thank you, good Sir!

GARY R. GROPPER, M.D. - ATLANTA BRAIN AND SPINE CARE REVIEWS
Dr. Gropper came highly recommended by my nurse practitioner for spinal fusion. He told me that Dr. Gropper is a surgeons surgeon and I felt very special after meeting him. I walked around in severe pain for several years and he suggested 2 options... Blocks or surgery and I chose surgery. The surgery went well and I haven't had anymore problems since. His bedside manners was very humbling. After my last visit we danced!!! God Bless you Dr. Gropper
The most down to earth and light-hearted highly specialized doctor that I've come across. He is proof you can be a master in one of the most difficult medical fields and still genuinely care about strangers who happen to become patients. The numbness and electrical shocks I was feeling in my arms have been gone for months now and Dr. Gropper gets all of the credit. Looking forward to my next appointment in 6 months!
Fabulous and very knowledgeable doctor. He came to see my mom in the hospital and took the time to explain everything carefully to our family . He was very patient and kind. He answered all of our questions truthfully and articulated his thoughts in a very professional manner . I was beyond impressed.
