Dr. Azadeh Farin is an accomplished neurosurgeon with specialized fellowship training and board certification. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Yale University, where she dual-majored in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry and Economics. During her time at Yale, Dr. Azadeh served as the Chair of the Independent Party in the Yale Political Union and graduated with Honors in just three years. She went on to earn her MD degree from the University of California San Diego and completed her internship and residency at the University of Southern California (USC). Notably, Dr. Azadeh holds the distinction of being the first woman to graduate from USC Neurosurgery in over 25 years, adding to her significant achievements. Currently, she provides expert care to patients in Long Beach, California, and takes pride in being one of the 200 female neurosurgeons in the United States. Dr. Azadeh specializes in complex spine surgeries, including lumbar fusion, as well as complex brain surgeries, spinal deformity treatments, and brain tumor surgeries. Her expertise extends across a wide range of neurosurgical procedures. Additionally, Dr. Azadeh has contributed to the field through the publication of numerous articles, manuscripts, and book chapters, further showcasing her commitment to advancing knowledge in neurosurgery.
