Dr. Allan D. Levi got his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Ottawa and finished his residency in 1995 at the University of Toronto. He is also a dedicated teacher in one of the largest neurosurgical programs in the country, and he is an elected member of two of the most prestigious neurosurgical societies in the American Academy of Neurosurgery and the Senior Society of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Levi specializes in treating the minimally invasive spine, peripheral nerve, spinal cord tumors, complex spinal, cervical, thoracic, lumbar fusion, and hypothermia. He can promote regeneration of central nervous system neurons as well as remyelinate central axons which have lost their insulation.
