He finished a residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospital & Clinics in 1993. He specializes in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery. He also handles all aspects of brain tumors, including pituitary and skull base tumors (meningiomas, schwannomas, acoustic neuromas, carcinomas) as well as gliomas and brain metastases.
