“ Dr. Amy M. DeGirolamo graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. She completed her podiatric medical and surgical training at the Baltimore VA Hospital with rotations through the Bethesda National Naval Hospital, the Baltimore Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland and the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. She is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. DeGirolamo is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician, Board Certified by the American Board of Wound Management. She is also a current member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and has participated in several medical mission trips over the years. She thoroughly explains the patient’s conditions and assists them in choosing a suitable treatment plan during her consultation. Among typical treatments, laser therapy is available as an in-office option to painlessly stimulate healing as well as treat pain, inflammation and swelling.
