Dr. Aaron S. Dumont, a neurosurgeon with board certification, obtained his medical degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia and pursued a fellowship specializing in cerebrovascular, skull base, and endovascular neurosurgery, also at the University of Virginia. Dr. Aaron S. Dumont demonstrates expertise across a wide range of neurosurgical areas, both in pediatric and adult cases. His areas of focus encompass spine surgery, movement disorders, epilepsy treatment, stroke management, cerebrovascular diseases, peripheral nerve disorders, radiosurgery, and brain and spine tumor management. Additionally, Dr. Aaron is actively involved in neurosurgical research, having published and presented over 200 scientific publications and delivered more than 175 presentations at national and international forums. He currently holds the position of Director at The Tulane Center for Clinical Neurosciences. His contributions extend to the academic sphere, as he serves on the Editorial Board of the renowned Journal of Neurosurgery, along with several other academic journals.
