He obtained his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital, where he served as Pediatric Chief Resident. Dr. Kantrow is board-certified in pediatrics and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1993. He is the Medical Director of Ochsner's Myelodysplasia Team. His special interests include caring for spina bifida patients, transplant patients, hospitalized children and infants, complex congenital diseases, and routine well-child care.

Our son has had Dr. Kantrow as his pediatrician since birth. He is amazing with children, and equally as amazing with parents. He always is patient with our questions and concerns and so reassuring to us as first time parents.

We love Dr. Kantrow! He was my children’s pediatrician and now is my grandchildren’s pediatrician. Wouldn’t go to anyone else. He is very thorough and takes time to listen to our concerns. Great pediatrician and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely love Dr. Kantrow! Wonderful experience every visit with him. He takes his time to hear concerns and answer questions we may have.

Dr. Reyes was absolutely wonderful during my son’s follow-up appointment. She had such a warm, welcoming energy and immediately made both me and my son feel comfortable. It was clear she came in well prepared, already familiar with his chart, history, and notes from his previous visit, which made the appointment feel very personalized and attentive. She was incredibly engaged with my son throughout the visit while also being very attentive to me as a parent. Her evaluation was thorough, and she took the time to clearly explain the treatment plan, next steps, and what we should expect moving forward. I’ve consistently had great experiences with the Ochsner Health pediatric department, which says a lot, but this visit truly stood out as one of the best experiences I’ve had.

Dr. Reyes is an amazing children doctor. She understands me when I have any concern and she makes me feel Hurd and I appreciate that Expecially as a first time mom. I am greatly to be in her care with my son and my son adores her very much. This woman goes beyond and out with taking good care of Zion and she deserves her flowers.

Dr. Reyes is an exceptional pediatrician. She is knowledgeable and understanding. Our children love her and can’t wait for their next check ups. We are so thankful for such a great pediatrician.
