“Dr. Byron H. Willis is the founder and president of Arizona Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists. He obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York. Dr. Byron completed his neurosurgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation with special training in complex spinal disorders. Dr. Byron is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is on the medical staff and Banner University Medical Center Phoenix and Banner Thunderbird Hospital Peoria. He has a clinical interest in complicated spinal disorders and spinal biomechanics. He has pioneered the use of intra-operative CT image guidance for spinal instrumentation at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. Dr. Byron has performed over 300 navigated spine cases and continuously works on expanding this technology's use in spine surgery.
