“Dr. Chandan Kundavaram obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed his urologic surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed an advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive urologic surgery at the University of Southern California Institute of Urology and the UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kundavaram has more than 16 years of experience. He has a particular interest in nerve-preserving prostatectomy techniques to treat prostate cancer to maintain continence and preserve sexual potency, as well as nephron-sparing surgery (partial nephrectomy) for kidney cancer to prevent the need for dialysis.
