He completed his urologic surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Chandan Kundavaram completed an advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive urologic surgery at the University of Southern California Institute of Urology and the UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kundavaram has more than 17 years of experience. He has a particular interest in nerve-preserving prostatectomy techniques to treat prostate cancer to maintain continence and preserve sexual potency, as well as nephron-sparing surgery (partial nephrectomy) for kidney cancer to prevent the need for dialysis. He is also well-versed in the treatment and prevention of kidney stones, BPH/prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and male sexual medicine.
