Absolutely amazing! I had surgeon's Dr Charles Wilson and Dr Bruce McCormick was up and coming fellow/Dr at the time. 1990+ transphenoidal and C spine surgery he's top tier! He was trained in excellence by excellence and became excellent himself. But he also has a very kind compassionate side. He cares about his patients 100%! They're recovery and comfort are most important to this doctor and that's a special attribute. One of many he possesses. Most respect and wouldn't see another neurosurgeon around. And have not since his surgery he performed on me. Forever grateful.

Dr. Edward Chang is the finest and the most humble neurosurgeon. My mother has been suffering from Trigeminal neuralgia for the past 10 years to the point that her pain became intolerable lately. We consulted Dr Chang and based upon her MRI results, he suggested for my mother to undergo MVD surgery. Dr Chang gave us the confidence and assurance that he has operated on old patients (80+) with a very good outcome. Dr Chang even accommodated an earlier surgery date since my mother was in extreme pain. My mother went through MVD at UCSF in May 2025 under the very able hands of Dr Chang and his team. The surgery went well, as expected and Dr Chang was so humble enough to call us right after the surgery and also every few days to check on my mother.
