BRIAN T. ANDREWS, MD REVIEWS
After agony for 17 years I went to Dr Andrews. Because of bone and disk growth, there was no more room along my spinal cord and the growth was lying across my nerves. He agreed to operate, and I felt safe in his hands. Recovery is pretty long for such surgery (discectomy, fusion) but 7 mos along I feel much better. After the accident that concussed and almost crippled me w horrible pain 24/7 I saw a number of neurologists and neurosurgeons, and Dr Andrews (& Dr Eric Denys, retired) struck me as the best. Highly recommend.
Dr. Andrews is a saint. He has operated on me twice. First time was 20+ years ago. Most recently, I was misdiagnosed by another neurosurgeon who recommended invasive surgery (three vertebrae fusion) and in the wrong area. Dr. Andrews did another microdiscectomy that fully resolved my pain and numbness. I am 100% cured. I could not recommend him any more highly.
Have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Andrews and he has done all in a minimally invasive manner. The latest surgery, 2 other surgeons wanted to do a double fusion and he was able to do a minimally invasive approach that left me without any fusion and full mobility. I strongly recommend Dr. Andrews.

BRUCE MCCORMACK, MD - NEUROSPINE INSTITUTE MEDICAL GROUP REVIEWS
Dr. McCormack is one of the best spine surgeons in my opinion. He did a lumbar fusion on me in 2010 and to date I am able to walk without falling down. I appreciate his honesty and the fact that he will not do any surgery that he feels won't work. Thank you Dr. Bruce McCormack. S. Frazier
Dr. McCormack performed a surgery on my husband’s spine more than 10 years ago. Barely visible 5 inches scar is all what reminds us of that taught time. Thank you Dr. McCormack You make people to be believe in miracles.
All 5 of my spinal surgeries, performed by Dr. McCormack, have had excellent and sustainable results! He is brilliant and candid.

EDWARD CHANG, MD - UCSF HEALTH REVIEWS
Dr. Edward F. Chang recently performed microvascular decompression neurosurgery on my right side, ending 15 years of recurrent and severe pain involving the upper two branches of my trigeminal nerves. The treatment was liberating, as I no longer have to fear cold, windy, rainy days, eating crunchy food, touching my forehead or nose and other triggers that often caused intense pain. The complete elimination of pain, and no longer having to take medication, has resulted in an extraordinary improvement in the quality of my life! The experience with surgery was pleasant. Dr. Chang and his team were warm, friendly and worked seamlessly together, communicating with me at all stages of care including before, during and after surgery. There was very little postoperative discomfort, and I was discharged after only two nights in the hospital. The surgical site was easy to care for and the healing was uneventful. For anyone suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, I highly recommend seeking care and treatment from Dr. Edward F. Chang and his highly skilled team. I am a very grateful and happy patient!
Dr. Chang and his crew are absolutely amazing. So professional, kind, smart, and genuinely want to help. I couldn’t be more grateful that I was able to get my two-surgery procedure (to locate the problem spot in my brain, then remove it) done by Dr. Chang. Also, my recovery has been great. Very quick and the incision is healing seamlessly. Very beautiful job.
Such a caring, knowledgeable, and talented surgeon. I had a great experience and I recovered quickly with zero complications. I can tell he is passionate about his work and cares about his patients. Hoping to never need neurosurgery again, but if I do I 100% will go to him.
