“Dr. James Chen earned his MPH at Cal Berkeley and his MD from Cal Davis. He completed his internship and residency at the prestigious University of Hawaii, Queens Medical Center. He finished his fellowship at UCSF in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and the subspecialty of Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He specializes in treating general orthopedic injuries, fractures, joint replacements, meniscus surgery, rotator cuff repair, and anatomic ACL reconstruction, as well as minimally invasive arthroplasty for all major joints. He did several medical missions and traveled to some places for this medical work in Guatemala, Mexico, and Samoa, and he also did some volunteer work teaching medical students, residents, and other surgeons about Orthopedics. He speaks English, Chinese, Mandarin and Spanish.”
