Dr. David A. Vincent is a neurosurgeon who holds board certification and has completed fellowship training. He received his medical education at Louisiana State University and subsequently pursued a general surgery internship and neurosurgery residency at the University of Virginia. To further enhance his expertise, he completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery at the University of Alabama. Dr. David specializes in various types of surgeries, including minimally invasive spine procedures, spinal tumor surgeries, and spinal deformity corrections. He actively engages in clinical research and contributes to the development of minimally invasive medical products. He holds certifications from the American Board of Neurologic Surgery and is recognized as a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. David is also a member of The Society of Lateral Access Surgeons and the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS). Committed to surgeon education, he regularly delivers lectures at courses throughout the country. Dr. David is affiliated with Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.
