CHRISTOPHER J. CHEN, MD - PACIFIC BONE AND JOINT CLINIC REVIEWS
Dr. Chen did a superb job on my right hip surgery. The area healed very fast and removed all of the pain I had been experiencing. He is thoughtful, respectful, and intelligent , qualities one always hopes a doctor will have. In addition, his staff is very efficient in getting all of the pre-surgery paperwork and instructions to their patients, which really helped to streamline the whole process. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Chen for any surgery one might need, and will definitely request him if I need any further surgeries.
Dr. Chen did a terrific, very meticulous job on my hip replacement surgery. I appreciate his willingness to recommend the surgery based on what he saw on the x-rays even though I was under 50 when he gave me the green light. Now post surgery I can sleep on my side, extend my leg to lie flat on the floor, and put on my shoes and socks without pain. I agree all the x-ray, nursing, and physical therapy staff say Dr. Chen is the best hip surgeon. I am very grateful to Dr. Chen and Jackie and Bonita in his office.
Dr. Chen performed the hip replacement surgery for my left hip this past October as well as my right hip 12 years ago. I stayed with my health plan all these years so I could be sure to have him as my surgeon when the time came for my recent surgery. Dr. Chen is a brilliant surgeon. As many who have suffered for so long with hip issues, I don't know why I waited so long. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and follows up on your progress in addition to providing information and answering any questions you might have along the way, pre and post surgery. The xray techs, nurses, and physical therapists hold him in high esteem. When they ask who did my surgery, they say he is the best. His office staff are also 5 stars - professional, accessible, friendly, helpful. Dr. Chen and his staff are the GOAT of orthopedic surgery!

ALEKOS THEOLOGIS, MD REVIEWS
Dr. Theologis was extremely open up front about the magnitude and seriousness of the spine surgery, and forthcoming about possible complications, while extremely confident in success……which was achieved, to a very high level, according to him and my other physicians involved. Recovery has been an eye opener, and he’s been there along the way, along with his PA Rosa to encourage and support at all points. Have a way to go to normal, but the real risk I was under pre-surgery has been eliminated, and normal will come. Deep thanks to Dr. Theologis and his whole team for what they’ve done for me…and for reassuring my wife along the way.
Doctors Theologis was concerned about my symptoms, and ordered more tests done. He is very thorough! I have been working with him for 4 years now, with three surgeries, and he is the best spine surgeon ever.
Dr.Theologis is wonderful! He is a very kind and compassionate Doctor. My surgery was extremely complex and difficult. He completed the surgery with great success. I am extremely happy with the end result of my fusion.

ROBERT A. EPPLEY, MD - CALIFORNIA SPORTS & ORTHOPAEDIC INSTITUTE INC REVIEWS
Dr. Eppley is a remarkably able surgeon. Many years ago he repaired my completely ruptured right pectoralis major tendon. This was a very difficult surgery because I had previously received some exceedingly poor medical advice and the tendon was completely scarred into the muscle mass. The surgery took a very long time. Afterwards the anesthesiologist stopped in to see me and described how hard Dr. Eppley worked to put me back together again. I still have full functionality of that pec. Recently I had an extensively torn rotator cuff, most surgeons would not have attempted this repair. Dr. Eppley did and my shoulder is now great and I'm able to swim and do all of the other things I love doing. I was 65 at the time of the rotator cuff surgery. I'm now 67 and the shoulder is doing great. Dr. Eppley rocks!!!
I'm a very active individual with years of injuries requiring both surgical and non-surgical treatment. I've had 4 ACL surgeries on my right knee alone. The last was completed by Dr Eppley. It has also lasted the longest and is still going strong. I can't think about going anywhere else. Back, shoulder, bicep and knees are still working great thanks to their clinic.
I had an ACL surgery with Dr. Eppley, recovery was really quick. Results are great, pain was minimal in comparison to another ACL surgery I had on my other knee. He used minimal invasive techniques (arthroscopy) to replace my ACL so he didn't cut my healthy quads, tendons or other tissue, he just bore holes. GREAT!
