“Dr. Daniel B. Chan received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Daniel completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery / Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He has special training in managing complex fractures in the pelvis and hip socket areas, fractures involving a joint surface, and fractures that fail to heal or heal with an unacceptable alignment. Dr. Daniel is a board-certified physician with over 18 years of experience. He is an Active Member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, serves as a faculty member for AO North America, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He specializes in geriatric fracture care and has an interest in the management of osteoporosis. Dr. Daniel B.
