WAYNE W. MORTENSEN, MD - UTAH VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS & SPORTS MEDICINE - PROVO REVIEWS
Dr Mortensen was very thorough and not rushed. Explained my condition and reviewed my MRI with me, explaining what he saw. He listened well and did not push surgery. We came to a treatment plan together. He did rotator cuff surgery on my wife 2-3 years ago and did a great job. She has full motion and he gave the credit to her for her diligence with physical therapy. Would recommend w/o reservation.
This was my first visit. I felt very welcome, and was taken care of when I first walked in the door. I did have to wait a little bit of time for my appointment as I think they were running a bit late. In my appointment I felt I was given the attention I needed, and the doctor understood and gave me some options. And everything went really well.
Dr. Mortensen is a phenomenal doctor. He preformed my daughter’s ACL surgery and was involved in the entire process. The surgery and follow up couldn’t have gone better! I would highly recommend!

SHANE M. FRAZIER, DO - PROVO HAND, WRIST & ELBOW CENTER REVIEWS
I slipped and fell hard on my elbow. I sustained a very bad break and another on the ulna. I saw the x-ray and couldn't believe it. I was referred to Dr. Frazier. He was able to get me into surgery the next day. When I saw the x-ray at the followup visit, it looked so very good. Aligned and firmly anchored. I also had full range of motion with no pain. They said I had an extremely quick recovery, I believe because the surgery was wonderfully done.. THANK YOU.
Dr. Frazier operated on my mother a few years ago. He was excellent then, and he continues to be excellent. I am due to have surgery on my hand soon, and Dan, his PA, did my evaluation. After the testing was completed, Dan called me with the results and talked about what Dr. Frazier recommended. Both of these men are excellent. They will take great care of you.
I am so happy with my experience and result with Dr Frazier. My elbow had been hurting for about four years and I had failed injections, braces, therapy and PRP. I am very happy to say that after surgery, my elbow no longer hurts. Thank you, Dr Frazier, for everything!

KEVIN CHRISTENSEN, MD - PROVO ORTHOPEDICS REVIEWS
I tore my ACL and medial meniscus last May while playing basketball. I went through three doctors and lived with an injury for 8 months before I found Dr. Christensen. After an awful kerfuffle with "professional sports team doctors" in Florida and further injury due to misdiagnosis, I asked a friend who did their knee replacement. They recommended Dr. Christensen since their doctor was difficult to get in with. I'm glad I saw him. The words that describe him are caring, compassionate, gentle and knowledgeable. I had never had surgery and Dr. Christensen helped ease my fears. After a few friends had similar injuries, they were bruised and beat up after surgery with different doctors. I had little pain, negligible bruising and hardly any swelling after surgery. I am well on my way to normal life again. He was precise and handled my surgery expertly. Yes, I will recommend Dr. Christensen to anyone for sports related injuries.
Dr Christensen was amazing he addressed everything we could think of he was very insightful about my daughter's knee. He showed us on the ex ray that my daughter has high knees and explained that she has another dislocation then we would need to do surgery to fix it. Could recommend his office more than I did.
I drove my mom to go see Dr. Christensen last Monday! Also he explained and answered all the questions we had. I definitely would recommend anyone looking for a new doctor to go see him! He was so friendly and polite! And he also speaks Spanish which a big plus for her.
