“Dr. David F. Scott graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. He received his fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the University of Utah. He completed his orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has over 33 years of experience. He has a strong emphasis on biological reconstruction alternatives to joint replacement, such as cartilage and meniscus replacement. Dr. Scott uses advanced bearings in hip replacement procedures, as well as hip resurfacing and computer-assisted surgery. Dr. Scott is also a pioneer in using kinematic alignment in knee replacement. He frequently speaks locally, nationally, and internationally about the latest trends and techniques in the field.
