BENJAMIN LING, MD - INLAND NEUROSURGERY & SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Dr. Ling came highly recommended to me by a family I trust whose son has been cared for by Dr. Ling since a baby when they found a brain tumor. I had a neck injury from a car accident in early 2013, along with a shoulder injury. Had the shoulder surgery first, in April of 2014. Then Dr. Ling fixed my neck, or at least the portion the insurance company would authorize! I arrived at Sacred Heart Hospital the morning of September 10, 2014 for my surgery and was severely anxious, which turned into a full blown panic attack. While I had an IV hooked up, no one was doing anything for my severe anxiety. By the time Dr. Ling arrived I was in bad shape. Not proud of how I acted, but I was scared. He took charge, ordered the anesthesiaologist to immediately give me something, scolded all of them actually for allowing me to get this way. The next thing I remember was waking up with the pain in my neck and arm gone! I have never recovered from surgery this quickly or had this good of a result ever. I will soon need more neck surgery, the part the insurance company wouldn't authorize 7 years ago and that Dr. Ling warned them I needed. I would not trust anyone to work on my neck but Dr. Ling. I doubt I will be as anxious this time either. I now know what a great doctor he is. I am grateful for his skill and dedication as a doctor.
He is exceptionally warm and kind. His PA that works with him, Claudia Ramn, is equally as kind. I fully appreciate their care and concern. I would recommend them both. Dr. Ling is an excellent surgeon. He did spinal fusion and an additional surgery on my back. The healing has gone very well.
He saved my life. I had a large mass growing on the top of my spine instead my scull, he carefully removed it and left no debilitating side effects.

JONATHAN CARLSON, MD, PH.D - INLAND NEUROSURGERY & SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Hi all I wanted to give my testimony with Dr. Jonathon Carlson as my neurosurgeon. I had him for over 3 years doing routine checkups and so forth. (Each visit very thorough! He really listens to you when it comes to your symptoms). I recently had my 1st brain surgery with Dr. Carlson and Pam McCloud on the 7th of January. My tumor is extremely rare and location even more rare.. (epidermoid cyst wrapping around my brain stem (nerves and arteries intertwining tumor)). Dr. Carlson is extremely confident and optimistic when it comes down to his patients. NOT ONLY did he remove my full tumor, but he also made it to where I didn't have to have titanium plate put in due to location of bone he removed was more downward neck. Amazing!! My symptoms right now are very much so doable! If my tumor grew back I know I would go to him again in a heartbeat! Thank you Dr. Carlson and Pam McCloud you guys are the true heroes here.. not only did y'all give me hope again, but you also saved my life!
Dr Carlson performed my aunt's DBS surgery last year for treating dystonia 8 years s/p-CVA so the outcome was uncertain. We knew that going in, but her mobility was so limited, it was worth the risk. I am thrilled to report that with ongoing PT, she is doing exceptionally well and is able to perform many ADLs independently now that she previously needed assistance for! Dr Carlson, Pam McCleod, and the whole DBS team have been phenomenal throughout this ordeal and we're so thankful!
I have already recommended Dr. Carlson and his associates to several people. Not just friends and family, but even to people I hardly know who have spinal damage. A close friend of mine had surgery with another doctor from this group and also had a very successful outcome. Thank you for your great care.

DAVID GRUBER, MD - INLAND NEUROSURGERY & SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
My daughter went to the er because she had stopped breathing and was given a mri to see what was going on she was diagnosed with water on the brain that her ventricular was way to big and Dr. Gruber implanted a vp shunt even though it was something that was considered to be a simple surgery he explained everything to us about how it could help and did a fantastic surgery on our 18 month old daughter. Both mom and I are very happy with the results for our daughter would highly recommend Dr. Gruber for anyone who needs any neurosurgery.
Because I was in need of spinal surgery which is frightening and itself, I searched and searched to find who I thought would be the best surgeon. I had to heard of Dr. Gruber many times and many people kept bringing up his name. The decision was made, Dr. Gruber. He was very kind and helpful, explaining exactly what was going on with my spine and how the surgery would help. I could not believe how much better I felt after the surgery, bless you Dr. Gruber!
Dr. Gruber was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my injury, and what would take place both during and after the surgery. Very personable and understanding. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery in his field of expertise.
