BENJAMIN LING, MD - INLAND NEUROSURGERY & SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Dr. Ling came highly recommended to me by a family I trust whose son has been cared for by Dr. Ling since a baby when they found a brain tumor. I had a neck injury from a car accident in early 2013, along with a shoulder injury. Had the shoulder surgery first, in April of 2014. Then Dr. Ling fixed my neck, or at least the portion the insurance company would authorize! I arrived at Sacred Heart Hospital the morning of September 10, for my surgery and was severely anxious, which turned into a full blown panic attack. While I had an IV hooked up, no one was doing anything for my severe anxiety. By the time Dr. Ling arrived I was in bad shape. Not proud of how I acted, but I was scared. He took charge, ordered the anesthesiaologist to immediately give me something, scolded all of them actually for allowing me to get this way. The next thing I remember was waking up with the pain in my neck and arm gone! I have never recovered from surgery this quickly or had this good of a result ever. I will soon need more neck surgery, the part the insurance company wouldn't authorize 7 years ago and that Dr. Ling warned them I needed. I would not trust anyone to work on my neck but Dr. Ling. I doubt I will be as anxious this time either. I now know what a great doctor he is. I am grateful for his skill and dedication as a doctor.
Was noticing the scar on my husbands lower back tonight. Wondered if Dr. Ling was still in Spokane. Yes, indeed. We trusted Dr. Ling. He was 100% right. And 13 years later we’re so glad we trusted him. He communicated well and somehow earned our trust despite our fear and skepticism. You want this guy on your healthcare team. Thanking God for the way this guy helped us in our time of disability.
My daughter had a very rare tumor at 5 months old Spokane had never seen before. Dr. Ling preformed the surgery with skill and precision and 9 years later my daughter is doing amazing. Thank you Dr Ling and his very nice PA.

JONATHAN CARLSON, MD, PH.D - INLAND NEUROSURGERY & SPINE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
I had 3 brain surgeries in a week. I cant remember when it was but i know it was about 10 yrs. ago now. I had a dymroid tumour behind my left eye. I got jumped....i fell a week before the surgery date and Dr. Jonathan Carlson was able to use a hole that was nicely placed on my left temple. Of course he had to patch the hole and a couple others that i had gotten over the years. But the way Dr. Carlson handled himself and how he helped me navigate the emotions. I mean he did his job so he had to explain the worst that could happen. But it was his character that really gave me the comfort the proceed with the process. Granted it took me 6 months but, today i'm beyond grateful for being able to meet him as a man, as well as to be priveledged enough to have him as my doctor as well. Im currently attending S.C.C. going on my 3rd quarter for automotive technology, and will complete with an associates degree. I have been maintaining an academic consistency of 3.8 gpa and 4.0 second quarter. Thanks for everything Dr. Carlson.
Hi all I wanted to give my testimony with Dr. Jonathon Carlson as my neurosurgeon. I had him for over 3 years doing routine checkups and so forth. (Each visit very thorough! He really listens to you when it comes to your symptoms). I recently had my 1st brain surgery with Dr. Carlson and Pam McCloud on the 7th of January. My tumor is extremely rare and location even more rare.. (epidermoid cyst wrapping around my brain stem (nerves and arteries intertwining tumor)). Dr. Carlson is extremely confident and optimistic when it comes down to his patients. NOT ONLY did he remove my full tumor, but he also made it to where I didn't have to have titanium plate put in due to location of bone he removed was more downward neck. Amazing!! My symptoms right now are very much so doable! If my tumor grew back I know I would go to him again in a heartbeat! Thank you Dr. Carlson and Pam McCloud you guys are the true heroes here.. not only did y'all give me hope again, but you also saved my life! I cant thank you both and your team! I did have them and the surgical team listen to a song for me for them. Song: Head above water by Avril Lavigne. I have my follow up appt on Wednesday,so happy for this.
Dr Carlson came highly recommended and was able to see my husband the morning after we discovered a large brain tumor. Two days later he opened up a surgery time and removed the tricky tumor. Even with some difficult side effects that we were praying would clear up Dr. Carlson and his PA Beth were cheering us on. Two months later my husband is jogging and planning on snow skiing in a week! Dr. Carlson knows his stuff!!!

JOHN DEMAKAS, MD - MULTICARE NEUROSURGERY AND SPINE REVIEWS
Everyone I have met on this staff so far is kind and treats each patient with respectful care. While the specialty itself and types of problems addressed could feel daunting, the atmosphere is lighthearted and even fun. Dr. Demakas gives his opinion with gentle honesty and listens to patient questions and input. He is willing to do further investigating when warranted. I am very grateful to have a doctor like him.
Dr. demakas is very straightforward, honest and decisive. He is also very experienced and knowledgeable. He has Avery good presentation with his clients. I have been a nurse for 29 years and have an ingrained sense of how well another health care provider will preform. I have had 2 surgerys done by dr. Demakas and have never doubted him or his team
Very friendly staff who worked with me, and Dr. DEMARCUS was attentive, checking me over, reviewing CT and xrays. He answered my questions and made suggestions for treatment. Would highly recommend this office based on the care I received.
