“Dr. Richard Gayle received his medical degree from the University of Illinois. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C. He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and his Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Queens Medical Center, England. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and has over 30 years of experience. Dr. Richard has expertise in arthroscopic knee and shoulder reconstruction conditions. He focuses on sports medicine and advanced arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Richard provides treatment for knee disorders, labral, meniscus, and overuse injuries, shoulder disorders, rotator cuff injuries, and tears. Dr. Richard has extensive experience in treating several professional athletes. He utilizes the latest arthroscopic techniques and has a particular interest in double-bundle ACL reconstruction and double-row arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs. He practices at Sunnyvale Center and also at Mountain View Center in Mountain View, CA.”
