John W. Sperling, MD - MAYO CLINIC

Just onto my 4th week since my reverse shoulder replacement on Aug 22. Two more weeks in a sling and then physical therapy. From the first time I saw Dr Sperling he gave me confidence that he could fix me up. He has explained everything to me in an understandable way both before and after my surgery. After my surgery he came in and assured me everything had gone well. The other positive is Mayo Clinic itself. I have never been to a better medical facility. This was my second major surgery there and I will never go anywhere else.

I had shoulder replacement surgery back in October '21 with Dr. Sperling. I was nervous about it, for obvious reasons, but I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Sperling and his staff are kind, patient, thoughtful, considerate, and available, no matter how mundane I thought the question might be. Aftercare was just as thorough. 5 stars, but only because Google won't allow me to award more.

Friendly, Straight to the point. I had a total reverse shoulder replacement. Doing things i haven’t done in twenty five years. Going back for another consult for another replacement. Best there is as far as I’m concerned. I would highly recommend Dr. Sperling.
