The best of the best when it comes to Doctors, courtesy, and actually listening to the patient….not to mention the beautiful architecture of the Mayo Clinic with the art deco, and the buildings surrounding the Mayo Clinic with the ornate stone work and buildings 10+ floors high built by the hands of men and women brick by brick who have since passed on while leaving us with their beautiful craftsmanship to enjoy today and for many more years to come. The Mayo Clinic is not just some place you go for top notch medical help it’s a place you go for an experience.

She Spends an appropriate amount of time with his patients. Staff friendliness and courteousness. Well, provider explains medical condition and Ease of scheduling urgent appointments.

Rochester Minnesota is the city of Compassion and is blessed, the Mayo Clinic was started by nuns and is historically a combination of science and spirituality working together! This hospital saved my moms life! Thank you.

Dr. Lamer is a very caring, compassionate doctor. He accurately diagnosed my problem and was able to treat it effectively. He is willing to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I have never felt uneasy about asking questions or contacting him to discuss concerns and options.

I never feel rushed through my appointments and I truly feel that he cares about my health care.

I was in so much pain & extremely frustrated to keep being sent to different providers to perform different tests & procedures. Dr. Birkland & his nurse, Tonya, were extremely understanding, compassionate & empathetic. My appointment was supposed to be a short one, but I was very emotional that day. I was not rushed, it seemed like I was the only patient here that day. They took the time to listen to everything that was going on to truly understand my issues & ordered an MRI of my neck in addition to my spine. No one had ever ordered one of my neck before. Thank God for this kind, intelligent Dr! The MRI showed there was a cyst in my spinal cord & that’s like causing the majority of my issues. Finally! It has been an entire year of being in pain & no one being able to understand or help in any way. I’m extremely grateful to have a Dr on my team to care for me & be empathetic enough to really figure out my issues. Highly recommend!.
