I am a new Patient of Dr. Dervays and I must say, I was VERY apprehensive about seeing her after reading the reviews online. I just moved to Virginia Beach from Pa in Aug 2018 and never experienced what I've have experienced here in Virginia in regards to Pain Management. It's TOTALLY DIFFERENT. She had to review my records before she decided to have me as a Patient. Mind you, this took several months which really upset me; however, after seeing her for a few visits, I was pleasantly surprised as to how 'professional' and 'thorough' she was with regards to gathering all the information in regards to my medical history. I’ve been a patient for 6 years. Dr. Dervay is a good physician; she cares about the substance of my pain management and overall health more than just prescribing pain medication. She has taken extra time with me on several occasions to discuss items not related to pain management. I appreciate what she’s done for me, and will continue making the drive to her office as long as I am able.
