She is licensed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has a license to practice law in Texas and Minnesota. She has helped entrepreneurs and inventors obtain patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other protections for new processes, ideas, machines, and products. She also holds professional memberships, including the Corpus Christi Bar Association (2013-2018), as President (2017-2018), the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee (2013-2017), and the Communities in Schools board of directors (2008-2018).”
