“Dr. Michael Bloom is a senior partner at Ross Eyecare Group and has been practicing full-scope optometry there since 1991. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983 and spent three subsequent years doing medical research at Emory University, Department of Pharmacology. He completed his Doctorate of Optometry in 1991 from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Bloom has comprehensive experience co-managing LASIK and cataract surgery and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He was an affiliate doctor of the Emory Vision Correction Center and has appeared on CNN and local news stations as an eye care expert. Dr. Bloom has experience in clinical studies for contact lenses and pharmaceuticals and served as a clinical examiner for the State Board of Optometry and on the Georgia Optometric Association Board of Trustees.
