"Dr. Valerie Lam graduated from UC San Diego and received her doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She completed her Pediatrics and Vision Therapy residency at the same University. Dr. Valerie Lam also completed her fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is renowned for curing vision problems that result from a traumatic head injury, surgery, or concussion. They took the time to conduct thorough exams and explain the results in a way that my kids could understand. Dr. Lam also went above and beyond to explore all treatment options and ensure that my children's vision needs were met. The entire staff at Insight Vision Center Optometry is friendly and helpful. We had a great experience at Insight Vision Center with my daughter’s eye doctor and the vision therapy team. The doctors are very professional and truly excellent at what they do! The staff is kind, patient, and very welcoming to kids. The in-office vision therapy is engaging and tailored to each child, and the therapists make it fun and encouraging. I’m so happy I went to Grant optometry! After my optometrist sold her practice, I was debating on going to Dr. Grant or another practice. Dr Grant was definitely the right choice! He is such a good doctor! He cares, takes his time, goes over every test with you, and makes sure you understand. This is a 5 star practice all the way around. I have recommended him to my family and friends.

Dr. Grant took the time to clearly explain everything they tested for and the results. After visiting many other optometrists, this is the first time I felt everything was done properly and professionally. I will recommend him to anyone I know.

Dr. Grant is far and away the most caring, thorough doctor I have ever had. He takes time to explain everything that is going on during the exam, and really empowers and educates his patients. It's also obvious how much he cares, which goes a long way. Dr. Grant is the best.

I’ve been with OC Eye Design for many years. Though I usually see Dr. Wald, I have received care from other doctors too. The doctors and clinicians are knowledgeable, thorough, caring and informative. The office is pleasant, clean and they have all the modern equipment. They have a great selection of frames. They helped me use my insurance most efficiently.

OC Eye designs continues to be my favorite place to get vision correction solutions. They have worked with me to get the exact kind of contact lenses that I need to solve the difficult vision problems that I have. My vision is 20/20 for reading AND distance in a comfortable and manageable way. The doctors and office staff that I work with are really accommodating and pleasant to work with.

The staff at OC Eye Designs are always top notch! They are always courteous and competent and very professional! All questions are answered kindly and every test and part of the exam is explained clearly so a layman can understand it. I highly recommend them for eye exams and eyewear.
