“Dr. Kim Nguyen is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist in Denton, TX. Dr. Nguyen completed her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she graduated Cum Laude. Before this, she graduated from the University of Waterloo and received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, with minors in Psychology and Biology. Dr. Nguyen has been caring for her Eye Care of Denton patients since graduating in 2013. Dr. Nguyen earned her clinical externships at the Eye Center of Texas and Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, Texas. She provided primary care and treatment of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration. She received training in pre and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK patients. At Eye Care of Denton, Dr. Nguyen performs routine exams, specialty contact lens evaluations, post-operative care, and treatment of ocular pathologies. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
