“Dr. Geraldine Chaney Buie is a Board Certified Pediatrician, she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Buie pursued her undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at Tougaloo College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973. Continuing her education, she attended the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, MS, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1977. Specializing in Pediatrics, she completed her residency at the Children's Hospital at UMC, concluding her training in 1981. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Buie remains committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in her field. She has served on the National Advisory Corporation and the Mississippi State Board of Health, currently contributing to the Board of the Mississippi Public Health Institute. Holding board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), she upholds the highest professional standards. Dr. Buie is the proud owner of Capital City Children's and Adolescent Clinic, PLLC, practicing at Capitol City Children's Clinic and affiliated with several hospitals in the area, including Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and Merit Health Central. Her office welcomes new patients and offers the convenience of telehealth appointments to accommodate various healthcare needs.”
