He is simply the best. He treats my children like his own, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I am never hesitate to sing his praises and recommend him because he and his staff are wonderful. They all know all three of my children and myself when I call and are always quick to get us seen when we need them unscheduled. I feel blessed to have such an amazing provider to take care of my kids.

Dr. Baust is the best pediatrician. We previously saw Sentara pediatrics and felt like a number. This office makes you feel like family. He is very knowledgable and personable. It’s also a great office for when kids are sick. I’ve never not been able to get a same day appointment there. Highly recommend.

Dr. Baust and his staff are amazing. He is down to earth and really cares about the well being of his patients. I can trust that my girls are in great hands at James River Pediatrics . 10 out of 10 recommend.

My family has been with Dr. Butcher for 10 years. He sees all 3 of my children. There is no other doctor I would trust more with my children's health. Dr. Butcher is extremely knowledgeable, very caring, and is wonderful with children. He explains everything well and you never feel rushed at an appointment. Keena and Zach are wonderful as well. All the staff seem to genuinely care for the children they see.

Dr butcher is fantastic. My family has seen him for the last 20 years. Compassionate, soft spoken, funny, he really engages with the kids. He also really knows his stuff and can address whatever the issue is.

Dr. Butcher has always had a great bedside manner. Very thorough and listens with the intent to help ease your concern. Both my children, who are now grown, have seen him since they were a baby.

Thank you Dr. Steiner for providing care for my first baby. It has been a pleasure working with this practice. I feel very informed when I leave and Dr. Steiner always makes time for my one million questions. She is always patient with me as I had never been around babies until I had one of my own. She never makes me feel like I’m asking silly questions and she and her staff are always gentle and caring towards my baby. I haven’t had issues with scheduling and as far as changing appointments goes, it’s the same procedure here as with any other practice. Bringing my baby from Gloucester to see Dr. Steiner is totally worth it.

Dr Steiner is so patient and fun. She always engages with my newborn and is so careful with her also. She’s very knowledgeable and outgoing. She’s very professional and kind. Her staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I’ve heard Dr Steiner with other patients and the professionalism she exudes is phenomenal. We love her.

My son is 11 and by far, Dr. Steiner is the best doctor we’ve had. She’s extremely informative, knowledgeable, and personable. She’s full of tips and great advice to help better my child as a whole, as well.
