This man was a GAL for my children. While my ex husband's lawyer put interesting and dishonest twists on my words (someone from her office even prank called me asking for my ex husband's wife and giggling the night before court) and I even felt like my own attorney wasn't very vested in my children at the heart of it, I felt like Brian was the most honest person in the room that worked within the court system. Keep your children at heart. It's not you you're representing in that courtroom. You are essentially standing proxy for your children. Request a GAL if you can, be honest, and your children are blessed if this is their GAL. Here I go for another round in the court room and maybe the new GAL can help my daughter.
