"Dough Boy’s Pizza is a locally owned family pizza restaurant that provides pizza with wings, calzones, and pastas in an eat-in, beach-themed space with a bar. The founder of the restaurant is George Kotarides. The restaurant offers a wide selection of hearth-baked subs, 1/2 pound burgers, salads, and unique snacks. They use fresh and locally sourced ingredients to make pizzas. All their pizzas are prepared from scratch. Dough Boy’s Pizza has become a favorite spot for celebrations by couples, families, and large groups.

2026 Update: They also offered a wine list that earned Two Crystal Stems recognition in the local paper. In the evenings, the venue transformed into a lively entertainment spot, hosting notable live bands like Buttsteak, Ant Man Bee, and Southern Culture on the Skids."

Friends and I were visiting the area and decided to stop in and we weren't disappointed. We went as soon as they opened and were greeted and seated immediately. The customer service was perfect and the food was really good. Pictured is all of our food and I had the white truffle burger with bacon which was delicious. My garlic parm tots were ok. I may try the fries or another side if we are ever back to try this place again.

The pizza was amazing. We were served by Bella, who was so sweet and made sure everything went well. Tony was the highlight though. He’s not your regular magician. Kept us talking about him even after he left. The ambience of the place is great too! This will become our go to Friday place.

Love the food, atmosphere, and employees! The staff here made the most special day for my niece. They were overwhelmingly positive and attentive. We frequent this restaurant and I would recommend it to ANYONE! Keep up the great work Shore Drive team.

Bunny was awesome. We came in late. Ordered a large pizza for the family to go. It started to rain, and Bunny offered a table for us to eat. The pizza was amazing. Sorry it was so good I forgot to take a Pic before I took a bit out of my.

We tried the pickle pizza. It was very good! Made with Alfredo sauce. It was good with ranch, blue cheese and actually honey mustard too! The honey mustard is very good here. We always get pizza here when we are in Virginia Beach.

Visited for lunch today and this is now our favorite pizza spot at the oceanfront! Food was very hot and fresh and came out quickly. Our server was also amazing! I don’t remember her name but she was very attentive to what we needed and friendly. 10/10 will be returning.

PUNGO PIZZA & ICE CREAM REVIEWS

A really awesome place! Lexi was sweet and helpful, and the food was perfect. The fried pickles were crunchy, the grilled cheese looked crisp and gooey, the pizza was loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection, and the crispy chicken sandwich had nice and fresh lettuce and tomato. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

I would like a little more crisp on the undercarriage of the pizza... But all in all, the pizza was super fresh. The garlic rolls not knots, were absolutely fantastic and better than your traditional dense garlic knots. These were garlic dinner rolls, that were fluffy and absolutely beautiful. The soft drinks we're fresh and not seltzer water tasting. I will definitely go back.

Locals Locale, and we love our Pungo area. "Garlic knots are off the chain!" Plus, they will put pineapple on a pizza. Old school video games is good for the kids, bring your quarters!.
