AUGUSTA MUSEUM OF HISTORY REVIEWS
We thoroughly enjoyed the museum and all of the artifacts, history, and interactive exhibits. I learned a lot and so did the kids. It's definitely a place to experience and learn so much history about Augusta for all ages.
Great museum with lots to see. You can spend hours in this place and still not see everything. I especially liked the train and trolley exhibits. Some areas could definitely use some updating, but they were still informative none the less.
had a wonderful experience, the museum is clean and well-organized. Rich collections that deepen my impressions of Augusta. I feel more connected to this city after visiting.

MORRIS MUSEUM OF ART REVIEWS
Very nice and well curated arts museum ! Exhibits vary in time-line, dating back 19th century. And vary in varieties of arts and techniques. The exhibits are also laid out in a themed manner. It's also a good place to learn some history. Always showcases special exhibits and musical concerts from time to time. Car parking spots available at the facility or in a nearby garage.
Was just looking at the Riverwalk and stumbled on this terrific museum. Great collection of regional art and more, in a very nice facility.
Great location right off Augusta's Riverwalk. Cool experience. Lots of different artist and cute gift shops. Check the website for events.

Pexcho's American Dime Museum is a historical institution in Augusta, GA. The Museum is dedicated to the legacy of the Dime Museum. The idea for the Museum was inspired by Dick Horne's American Dime Museum, which closed in 2006. The Museum offers an immersive experience that takes visitors back to the heyday of the dime museum during the mid-1800s. The Museum is a unique addition to downtown Augusta, owned by a family. It is an authentic recreation of a museum popular among working-class people in the late 19th century. In addition to showcasing a collection of unusual and bizarre objects, the Museum also displays preserved animals in jars. The Carnival Room is a particularly noteworthy exhibit featuring a collection of circus, sideshow, and midway memorabilia, including original posters, games, and photographs of past and present performers.

PEXCHO'S AMERICAN DIME MUSEUM REVIEWS
My family and I absolutely LOVE the dime museum. We had just arrived in Augusta and stumbled in with another group. We were NOT expecting something THIS amazing. The best part isn't all the cool things you're seeing, it's the showmanship of Peter Pexcho. The family in general is really cool. At one point in Red's show, I turn back and saw Billy riding a unicycle, just because he can. Speaking of Billy, he is training to be the youngest sword swallower ever! How cool is that? I could go on forever about how cool everything about this place is. My sister voted everyday to make sure they won the title of Best Museum in Georgia. It truly is the BEST! Couldn't recommend it enough!
What a lovely experience. My husband and I were walking down town and stumbled in on this delightful little place. We happened to have time to kill and happened to arrive just in time to slip in and join the show. I honestly expected the experience to be short and sweet, given the seemingly small space, but it was surprisingly jam packed with lots to see and talk about. I feel like we only got to look at a fraction of the displays and hear only a part of the stories. It was a great show and Peter has a great way with stories.
Incredible experience if you want something a little different. Set aside a couple hours, you definitely get your moneys worth. Also take a light jacket, it can get chilly in the exhibits on cold days. Staff is fantastic. You won’t be disappointed.
