FIRE MUSEUM OF TEXAS REVIEWS

Such great history kept in pristine condition. Even have an interactive area for youth that can put on fire fighter gear and hop in fire truck, as well as a miniture house upstairs that kids can interactively play in. I was surprised it was free admission, we left a larger donation because its great for generations to see our history. We grabbed a few things from the gift shop, and the lady was so helpful and informative. She even let us know about an event, open to the public, coming up in October. We will definitely be back the next time we have out of town guests.

Our family really enjoyed the Fire Museum! We love that it was free, there is a huge parking lot and the museum is well maintained. There is a donation box in the front that we happily contributed. They have an area for kids to dress up and sit in a firetruck. Upstairs is a little library and learning activities. The gift shop has a variety of items too.

Cool, little stop. Kids' place is dated, but plans to revamp it are in the works. My kids love the playhouse upstairs.

The Spindletop Museum of Beaumont offers a captivating journey back in time. Each room exudes a unique atmosphere, providing an immersive experience. It’s a delight for kids, and the antique machines add an intriguing touch. Summer visits are enjoyable but be sure to take shade and stay hydrated. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts and families alike.

Very cool museum to visit. Plus, being over 60 years old, it was very affordable, only $3.00 each. The staff were warm and friendly.

This is a very informative museum about the big oil boom of the early 1900s.

JEFFERSON THEATRE REVIEWS

First time taking my wife here. We drove in from Houston to see Dusty Slay. Very intimate venue with easy no pay parking. They do both Stand up comedians as well as special movie events from past favorites and classics.

What a nice way to see a classic movie in an old theatre with decor to match. There isn't much parking at the lot, mostly street parking. There is a concession stand with popcorn, bags of chips, a few candy options, soda cans, water and a couple of beers options. Price for movie is fantastic, the food too! It's a responsible night out for sure.

Beautiful, unique, and nostalgic. Amazing architecture from a time long past. They have very affordable movie nights, and a magnificently restored organ. Any event here is enhanced by the elegance of the building.
