3 Best Places To See in Boise, ID

I love this place so much. I always have a great time whenever I come here. We have a much larger aquarium in Boston but I prefer this one by far. It’s generally pretty quiet, and you don’t feel rushed to move from exhibit to exhibit, which is really nice. I also get anxiety from crowds, so it helps. If you want to feed the fish (which is really fun), you should go earlier since they tend to sell out. They have some freshwater and reptile exhibits too. Staff is excellent and the animals seem well taken care of n.

Cute, little aquarium. Better suited for kids than adults, but I still enjoyed it. Most of the display tanks are on the smaller side but I didn't mind because there were lots of different animals and you can easily view the animals, even in the smaller enclosures. There were a lot of touch tanks throughout. In addition to aquatic life, there are lots of reptiles and amphibians. The staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. I spent about 45 minutes here.

My daughter and I both enjoy the aquarium. It's really cool to just check out the creatures and my daughter absolutely loves the touch tanks. There are normally employees there to assist with information about the reptiles and aquatics life. It is definitely a good place to take your kids at least once. If not more, I definitely have.

Even though it's the beginning of October and fall is in the air, this place is gorgeous. It's peaceful and relaxing . There are a lot of plants and wildlife all around the 15 acres that is awesome. This is my first time ever to visit the botanical garden in Boise but it is sure not going to be my last. My husband and I are excited to come in spring / early summer of 2025. I bet with everything in blue it is breathtakingly amazing. I highly recommend visiting it if you like peaceful things too.

This is a wonderful way to look at all the different trees and bushes and get some exercise in the spring. And in the winter they put up Christmas ( they start this progress in august ) because it takes three months to put up all the lights. If you have never seen the Christmas lights up get your warm clothes and come and see this wonderland in all its glory.

We had a fantastic time at the Winter Gardens aGlow event at the Idaho Botanical Gardens this year. The beautiful lights and well-designed paths made for a wonderful evening that the whole family thoroughly enjoyed, and we're already looking forward to visiting again next year.
