3 Best Places To See in Corpus Christi, TX

If you pick one place to go like this. Make it this place. The animals are amazing. They have so many reptiles,birds, and more! Almost ALL of the birds TALK!!!! You can tell that everyone here is seriously in LOVE with the animals and takes extremely wonderful care of them. The staff makes it obvious that they truly have bonds with the animals, and deeply understand each individuals character, needs, likes and dislikes. It's amazing. I haven't been to many zoos or aquariums or anything where the animals are so obviously cherished. Also the entire staff is so beyond kind and happy to answer questions. You can hold a lot of reptiles if you go to the reptile room multiple times throughout your visit. You can talk to the birds ( get there before 3:45 ), and the morning time volunteers have worked so hard to create and upkeep the plants, flowers, and specifically the butterfly pavilion which is GLORIOUS. The cost of entry is like $10 which is a total steal and beats any other costly experience. I would highly recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!!!! Also there's tshirts in the gift shop that turn into bright colors in direct sunlight and they're under $20. Amazing. I love you guys so much.

Super friendly atmosphere! Excellent staff in reptile room where they allowed my wife and I pet a good-sized lizard. The young ladies in that area were very knowledgeable. Outside, we first encountered a very talkative parrot that kept us entertained for a while. We visited the butterfly garden. The butterflies were not quite as personable as the white parrot but I was still able to photograph some of the “zebra” butterflies. It was fun.

A wonderful small garden, butterfly house and animal center. The staff were all friendly and helpful. You go into the indoor animal room and can get to touch and hold some of them. So very cool. Note to spray bug repellent before going into the office cause mosquitoes are active once you do the self tour.

I had a great time at Whataburger Field watching the baseball game. Parking was easy, which made getting in and out very straightforward, and the food options were excellent. It was a really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was lively, and everything was well organised, which made for a very pleasant visit.

First time here and soooooo cute. Neat kids play area with a basketball court, baseball field and playscape. The ships were near to see up close. Staff was super friendly and amazing give aways. Highly recommend.

It was a beautiful evening of baseball. The CC Hooks won, the breeze on the 3rd base sideline helped it to not be so hot ! This field has nice views, and it’s a nice ballpark all around. some friendly folks as well.
