“USS Lexington Museum is the world's oldest aircraft carrier, operated as a naval aviation history and educational center, and a famous tourist attraction. The museum showcases the world's most famous aircraft carrier from the inside out. Five routes will take you through the 33,000-ton aircraft carrier. Visitors can explore World War II's longest-operating Essex-class aircraft carrier. The 16-deck Blue Ghost features military objects and more than 20 aircraft. Tourists can see all five routes, the LEX escape room experience, a 3D super theater, a mess deck eatery, and a jet fighter. The museum has over 440 items on display; see the largest set of models publicly displayed in Texas. USS Lexington Museum offers a free 3D fighter pilot experience.
