GILBERT HISTORICAL MUSEUM
10 South Gilbert Road, Gilbert, AZ 85296 Directions
Gilbert Historical Museum is a house for the Arts, Music & Heritage of Gilbert. The earliest buildings still existing in Gilbert are the only ones in the National Register of Historic Places. The Gilbert Historical Society has been in existence since 1960 and was founded in 1979, but had no formal structure to call it it's own. When the school closed in 1977, and the building became accessible, the Historical Society rented it to the Gilbert Public Schools and started opening the Historical Museum in 1982.
