DISCOVERY PARK REVIEWS
One of the nicest parks I've been to in Greater Phoenix! I've lived in the Phoenix region for over 7 years and, between all the sports that my kids play, I've been to more parks than I'm able to count - and this morning I visited Discovery District Park for a rugby game. Aside from the variety of things in this park (lakes with fishing, small hills for bikes, fields, walking paths, picnic areas, beach volleyball and basketball courts, intertwined with walking paths) this park was a great place, with lots of friendly community members, to visit. As in its easy access location, and the close shipping district with lots of quick food options for hungry athletes, and this is one of the best parks I've been to in the region.
This is a great park that has a little bit of everything. You can go here and play soccer, football, volleyball, and basketball, and also use your skateboard, skates or bicycle. There are 2 big ponds where you are allowed to go fishing if you wish. There is also a playground for the little ones, and there's plenty of parking spots.
Nice park! They got an amazing park with a lot of ducks and other bird species in the area. There are also shaded area which is great for doing picnics.

GILBERT REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS
Gilbert Regional playground is amazing. 4-5 slides of different variety. The top area is for older kids and the bottom area for younger kids. They have a small rock wall, swings on both levels, balance walking beam, and more. Splash pad is near by. They have shade sails to make it as shady as possible. The only bad part about this park is you can lose your kid quickly. Slides take you from the top level to the bottom level. Usually when the park is busy, it is like ants on an ant hill. Busy cause it is such a fun playground. There is fishing and pickle ball, sand volleyball, basketball courts too.
The park was clean. They have an amphitheater. It had an awesome play area for kids. They have tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts and sand volleyball courts. They have an area called the mountain for rock climbing, zip lining and swings. I nice looking splash pad and a smaller one for the little ones. They have Ramada and grills. They have a fishing urban lake. They are stocked with trout right now. When the weather warms up they'll stock with catfish. I was lucky to catch a trout and a ton of blue gills. This is the first park that I was asked to show my fishing license in over 20 years of fishing.
Gilbert Regional Park is fantastic! It's big with lots to do. Kids have great playgrounds, and there are trails for walking or biking. The lake is pretty, and you can fish there. Picnic areas make it perfect for family outings. My recent visit was so much fun. This park has it all and is a must-visit for outdoor lovers!
