The Gilbert Art Walk is an amazing place to spend a Sat morning on the first and third Sat Oct-March. The wide variety of artist they have there is like no other place in AZ. I enjoy seeing all of the families and dogs there. The music is nice to listen to when you just want to sit in the grass and relax.
Gilbert sponsored Concert in the park under the water tower. Relaxing, entertaining and fun. The band "What's Left" did an excellent job playing a vast array of family friendly selections.

GILBERT HISTORICAL MUSEUM REVIEWS
Wow! Way better than I expected. It doesn't look like much from outside, but there's a lot to see inside. There's a downstairs area where you can go to see the model trains, with stations modeled after the different Arizona cities. Very realistic, and the guy manning the area was very welcoming. Then, there's an outdoor veterans memorial, and walking past that, you see a historic wagon, car, and firetruck. From there, you enter the main building. The rooms are clearly labeled with signs, and everything was well laid out with large-font signs to read. I also enjoyed the replica displays, i.e. the model blacksmith shop, as well as the historical artifacts. Outside, there's old farm equipment and two other rooms- a gallery and a military exhibit section. So cool! You could definitely spend around 2 hours here if you take your time reading each sign and looking around.
We all drive by this place on the Southwest corner of Gilbert Rd and Elliot and we all say to ourselves “we should stop by someday”. Well, the day finally came for me and my family and it was well worth it. There is so much to learn about the town’s history in this museum.
Gilbert schools art show is here right now. Thanks to the museum for hosting!

SOUTHEAST REGIONAL LIBRARY REVIEWS
My family and I love this library and have been coming here for years. The combination of taking a walk around the riparian preserve located here, getting out into nature, and then being able to step inside and exercise our brains is a potent combination. The librarians are incredibly helpful in resolving issues and I am grateful for the work they do. Checking out books is an excellent forcing function to have an excuse to return them, get in another walk, and repeat the process. We’ve come after dark before and been able to view distant galaxies through the telescope that resides here as well.
I love this library. It’s so big and clean and modern. I love being able to put all my items on the check out and it scans them all at once. The views out the window are so calming and pretty.
My niece absolutely loves going to the library. We always bring duck food and bird seed and feed the ducks and birds as well. We have an awesome time. It's a good way to spend an afternoon or morning.
