VIRGINIA AIR & SPACE SCIENCE CENTER REVIEWS
Much smaller than anticipated but I really enjoyed my visit. First time here and it was very pleasant. I went during the weekday so it was not busy at all. I love how the displays are setup and each area has very descriptive details about the displays. I even got to go to the kids section and color an airplane. This was a wonderful way to spend my birthday. I will definitely be back and tell others to visit.

This was a very fun museum. With free parking across the street. Good for all ages. It's not huge, we went through in about an hour. Has a few neat exhibits and a good layout.

AIR POWER PARK REVIEWS
Great museum to take kids and or just explore. Tons of amateur and professional models inside to look at. It is free to enter and walk around. The staff there are very friendly and help you in learning whatever you would like to know! There is a boardwalk out back with nice views accompanied by local wildlife and waterways. This place is never too busy. Although it is a small building and a small attraction compared to other museums, there will almost always be near to no wait to get in and look around. Attached are some photos of the boardwalk behind the park. I couldn't find any of the photos I took of the aircraft themself.
This is mostly outside, so make sure you visit with good weather. The outside and the inside are both about 30 minutes worth of walking around and reading. The outside is gravel and will pose a problem for people with difficulty walking or for wheelchairs. You can get very close to several cold war and Vietnam era jet aircraft and rockets. The building is small but includes several hundred, well-made plastic model aircraft. They are well organized by country and time period. There is a nearby but unrelated raised walking path that goes over a marsh. --- definitely worth checking out. You can access it from the rear of the Air Power Park.
This a very nice hidden gem. My son absolutely enjoyed himself. Including the reading room with a place to sit and read the many books available. There are many displays about the history of planes and all of the roles they have played throughout time. They have a Tuskegee and a women in planes section also. This was very informative and very beautiful to look at inside and out. Planes and exhibits larger than life.

HAMPTON HISTORY MUSEUM REVIEWS
This museum was so cool! I homeschool with my daughter and this was a must see spot. Great artifacts, so educational. Mostly in the civil war period. Took my daughter and her best friend and had a lot of fun. Loved the exhibits. My favorite piece was probably the old carousel, truly beautiful! Too bad I didn’t get a pic of it. We also got in free because of their military star program. My husband is currently serving and is on deployment. They have a special program for military.
If you're ever visiting Hampton, please go and support this museum. The staff is helpful. The pathing of the exhibits was awesome. It was like walking Thur time. Very very well laid out. The price for myself and my wife was 10 so well worth it.
It's worth a visit to learn its history Excellent museum! That weekend, it was free! Great! Thanks.
