Air Power Park is a 15-acre park that features various vintage aircraft and experimental space launch vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s. The outdoor park is open year-round, seven days a week, from sunrise to sunset. The park features displays of jets, missiles, and rockets. The indoor museum has over 325 models of aircraft, spacecraft, and nautical vessels representing all the U.S. branches of service and some other nations. Kids may enjoy the playground area. Launch your paddle craft or simply relax on the floating dock, enjoying the view of wildlife on Newmarket Creek. Many displays have connections with nearby Langley AFB and NASA Langley Research Center. Admission is free for all visitors. There is a special children’s reading area, a corkboard wall for the little artists to post pictures, special reading material, and a 3D art wall.

The Hampton History Museum displays the city's history via art and artifacts, including period dresses and Civil War artifacts.
