“Clark County Museum is a 30-acre site featuring a new display hall with a history display of southern Nevada from historical to modern times and a collection of restored older landmarks. The display includes baskets, arrowheads, stone tools, and other crafts from the native Paiute region. Heritage Street has a famous collection of heritage buildings renovated to recreate significant periods of local lifestyles. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable to explain the history. The Museum has represented Clark County residents for more than 50 years. From the 1910s to the 1970s, Heritage Street homes have provided doorways in the past decades. Mining Trail provides a life experience in the hot and arid climate of the Southwest. Take time to learn about the earliest inhabitants of the area. The black and white photographs on the walls give tourists a sense of the incredible development.”
