The Garden is 16 acres and is a joint effort between Henderson, the Southern Nevada Conservation District, and several other local organizations. The Garden is an excellent example of water-efficient landscaping for its desert climate. Acacia Demonstration Gardens also holds seminars each spring and fall, offering visual samples of the landscape possibilities and information about the displayed plants. Acacia Demonstration Gardens contains indigenous plants in the desert, a learning center, and demonstration areas.
