What a great way to spend an afternoon exploring my with my boys! We thoroughly enjoyed this little slice of Nevada history. It is truly a hidden gem. Old home sites, super old jail cell & smaller buildings, random parts & pieces from old farm equipment & pioneer days, some farming stuff, little chapel, a barn, Boulder City Depot, walking's very cool & a nice peek at our days gone by, especially for $5.00!!!!! And the lady in the little gift shop, wow, super nice & very friendly!

We had a fantastic morning on the Behind the Scenes Tour. Christina was an awesome guide with a great sense of humor. The lions are amazing. They are in large and extremely clean enclosures. Many came up very close for a special meat treat. There are also assorted birds and even a young giraffe. Many places let you feed their giraffes but on this Tour we also helped him paint his latest masterpiece! I would highly recommend visiting the Lion Habitat and taking this tour.

I love the Acacia Gardens and the park. The gardens are to the right when you drive into the park parking lot. The landscaping is beautiful and there are many photo opportunities here. When you walk the gardens you will come to a path and bridge the bikers use where when you look out you will see the Fiesta of Henderson across on the other side off the 215.
