TOP 3 PRETEND CITY CHILDREN'S MUSEUM REVIEWS
My family and I were visiting Irvine and needed something to do with our 4 y/o and 2 y/o. We discovered Pretend City Children’s Museum through Google as this is one of their most popular places to check out when visiting. Their availability times are open morning to noon and noon to close. We went to the afternoon one. There was a line when we arrived but it moved very quickly. We went during the weekday so there was a decent amount of kids but not overcrowded. This is a little city for children. Almost anything a city has, this place has it. They have an art workshop for the little ones to get creative. They have a library, a grocery store, a farmland with actual chicks, construction area, a house, a mailroom, a car workshop, roads, etc! I can’t list it all. This place is abundant of activities and city related items. They also have a realistic dinosaur museum in the back which was very cool. Even I was impressed. My children had a blast for a good 2 hours. They didn’t want to leave. It’s great stimulation for children. I had fun watching them have fun and also seeing the cute little city and all the little details. It was quite impressive. Definitely worth the price.
My daughter (3 years old) was IN LOVE. All of the things we do as adults, but for children. She loved the grocery shopping, the mail office, everything! This place is also completely wheelchair accessible and I love that so very much. To top it off, they are so smart with the ending "parade" when it's closing time. Because your children will most likely not want to leave, they had a parade that leads up to the exit door, so your child has no choice but to leave (in a fun way). Oh and let's not forget the dinosaurs! But, I don't think children over the age of 7 will love this place as much. It's literally pretend city and older kids might not find the "fake things" as appealing.
Love this place! All the detail they put into everything is Amazon. My 3 yo loved it. Only annoying part is that parents have to pay too and it’d be nice if they had a cafe there instead of leaving to get lunch.

TOP 3 UCI JACK AND SHANAZ LANGSON INSTITUTE AND MUSEUM OF CALIFORNIA ART REVIEWS
Very cool collection of California specific art. The Irvine family collection is very unique because it showcases just California art. It's pretty cool because most of the places are places many people here have visited. It's a different feeling vs what you feel when you see European art of places most people haven't been to. The parking is free with validatikn and the museum is free. It's small, so it doesn't take much time to finish it.
I spent a few days in Newport Beach just hanging out I was looking for some interesting things to do and came across the Irvine Museum I'm not an art person but for some reason I really enjoyed this place. The employees are very friendly and answered the questions I had regarding the paintings they also have a small gift shop that has some really nice books.
Validated parking and free admission. It's about a 30 minute tour of the museum but packed with the history of the OC and paintings of nature in southern CA. There was definitely something to take away from this experience and I'd gladly go back.

TOP 3 MARCONI AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM REVIEWS
Words cannot express how much we loved working with the Marconi Automotive Museum on the Bill Shumard Hall of Fame Awards. The venue, presentation, catering, and staffing were excellent. Couldn’t have had a better setting or experience for our signature event. Our volunteer athletes had a blast as well! We are so grateful to the Marconi Team - Special Olympics Southern California.
Pretty cool off the beaten path auto museum. Started as a private collection now public museum. They have a few famous vehicles...K.I.T.T from Knight Rider, one of the many General Lee's and a Bat Mobile. Plus loads of high end sports, muscle and luxury cars.
Great museum and super friendly staff (met Mr Marconi too, great guy). You'll definitely be "wow'd" by their collection of amazing cars and memorabilia! Love their purpose in helping children!
