Bill Barber Memorial Park has over 42 acres of parkland that feature a variety of recreational areas, athletic fields and courts, and playground facilities open to the public. It offers a variety of sports classes, including cardio boot camps, youth and adult tennis lessons, and softball leagues. The park has three lighted softball diamonds, three lighted soccer overlay fields, six lighted tennis courts, four batting cages, two concession stands, and 17 drinking fountains. Bill Barber Memorial Park has an amphitheater that includes an accessible staircase, a wonderful view of Military Memorial, and a well-manicured grass seating area.

Orange County Great Park is one of the most popular metropolitan parks in Irvine with a focus on agriculture, arts, and sports. It has kids rock playground for toddlers cloud-like misters for warmer days and outside the visitor center with a nature theme. The park offers many events, programs, seasonal activities, classes for all ages. Orange County Great Park offers a great park balloon, farmer's market, sports complex, ice facility, hangar 224, and five-point amphitheater. The park provides 13 soccer fields, five sand volleyball courts, 12 baseball and softball fields, 25 tennis courts, flexible field space, and eight basketball courts.
