“Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden is committed to inspiring action for wildlife conservation. The zoo invites you to explore wildlife wonders and wildlife spots. The zoo covers 119 acres and is home to more than 1,900 animals. You can enjoy world-class habitats like the Great Escape and Cat Forest/Lion Overlook, Oklahoma Trails, and Sanctuary Asia, where you can discover the beautiful animals of the Asian continent. Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden supports Snapshot Safari, a camera network created by the University of Minnesota’s Lion Center. Through donations from the Round-Up for Conservation Funds, the zoo contributed to establishing a camera trap grid in Zimbabwe in 2018. Tourists can choose from various stunning environments, large picnic areas, a reception area, an underwater area with sea lions, and a lake. Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden offers free admission for children aged two and under.”
