This a great little place in the city to go and get out into nature. For those of us who've grew up in the area, Martin Park was a consistent field trip destination. If that was the last time you visited, please go back! Things have changed a lot . Trails have been re-routed (there's about 2.5 miles worth to explore), there's a playground for kids now, classes are going on pretty much every weekend, park hours have been extended to dusk, and even the entrance to the trails has got a new look.

This was a very lovely park!! I really enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere here. It's full of gardens, plant life, all different kinds of trees, and many flowers, bridges, ponds, and gazebos. This is a wonderful place to take pictures at! I got my family portraits done here by Beverly Riggan Photography, and they turned out beautiful!! There were so many places to capture great photos!!
