She did her general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She completed several fellowships with experts in the field of cosmetic surgery to learn the most advanced techniques and train with both international experts and national experts in body, breast, and facial rejuvenation procedures. Dr. Kimberly Short is a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Indianapolis Medical Society, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons.
