A Good Time Out provides quality care for ages Newborn to 12. It is an hourly drop-in Play care center. The preschool offers a fun, stimulating, creative, and educational place for children where they can be safe and happy. A Good Time Out provides many different ways to utilize their facility and can meet most families’ needs. They specialize in helping young children, who spend most of their time with family, transition into care in their facility. They offer summer programs and special events.

Lil' Explorers Preschool Academy offers quality education through multiple engaging activities every day. Their preschool staff is all trained in early childhood development at the college level. Lil' Explorers Preschool Academy curriculum includes weekly themes and assemblies with daily enrichment activities, and their curriculum is based on building a foundation for learning through multiple forms of stimulation and exposure. Their spaces are created to provide a safe but stimulating atmosphere with the ability for various exposures. Their facility allows for extensive exploration both indoors and out for a broad base of life experiences, which helps the children to grow and develop in a safe and nurturing setting. Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks served each day.

Garden Pathways is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 that provides mentors to children, young people, and adults to create positive lives. The preschool provides quality childcare, education, and enrichment for infants and preschool children, and Garden Pathways programs give the Kern County population a wide variety of life-building opportunities.
